ROLE: FRONTEND ENGINEER

About the Role:

Pika is seeking a dynamic and skilled lead product engineer to join our team. An ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and innovation, with a focus on creating exceptional products that drive value for our customers. As a lead product engineer at Pika, you will collaborate closely with our tech and creative teams to design, develop, and launch products that meet our customers' needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality products that meet customers’ needs and business objectives.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve product performance, scalability, and usability. 
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define product requirements and specifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related technical field or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in software engineering with focus on product development.
  • Experience with frontend, backend, or full-stack is a plus.
  • Former experience of working at startups is a plus.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced and team-oriented environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
