Job Description

The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of Star Merge. Responsibilities include developing and executing test plans, collaborating with developers to identify and resolve defects, documenting test results, participating in software releases, testing across multiple devices and platforms, and providing feedback on gameplay, UI, and overall player experience. The role requires 1+ years of experience in game testing, specifically mobile games on Android and iOS. Knowledge of testing methodologies, mobile game design principles, and excellent communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Must have:

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of Star Merge. You will work closely with developers, designers, and other team members to identify issues and ensure smooth gameplay experiences for our users.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans to identify defects and verify game functionality
  • Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects in the game.
  • Document test results and communicate issues to development teams
  • Participate in software release activities.
  • Test game functionality across multiple devices and platforms
  • Provide feedback to the development team on gameplay mechanics, user interface, and overall player experience
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of game development processes

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in testing games
  • Experience testing mobile games on Android and iOS platforms
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools
  • Familiarity with mobile game design principles and user experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Good written communication skills in English (for requirements reading)
