Job Description

Senior Murex Collateral Consultant needed for a large Australian financial institution's Murex Binary Upgrade project (v42 to v56/58). The project involves significant changes to Collateral, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Ops, and settlement functionalities. The consultant will provide Murex Collateral Module consulting support, leveraging expertise in MX.3 Datamart. A strong financial markets background across various asset classes (IRD, Fixed Income, Commodities) and experience with LRB and LTS is required. Responsibilities include working closely with the Luxoft delivery team and interfacing with business and client technology functions. The role demands understanding of Legal Agreements (CSA/GMRA), Collateral stamping, MLC for Collateral Exposure calculation, and Back Office knowledge including Margin Calls, EOD scripts, and Collateral Exchange workflow (MxML).

Must have:

7+ years relevant experience
Understanding of Legal Agreements (CSA/GMRA)
Collateral stamping experience (Murex setup)
Experience with MLC for Collateral Exposure
Back Office knowledge: Margin Calls, EOD scripts
Collateral Exchange workflow (or MxML)
Collateral inventory and Allocation process
Strong financial markets background

Project description

We've been engaged by a large Australian financial institution to provide resources to their upcoming Murex Binary Upgrade project .
This Bank is considering moving from Current Murex version 42 to latest higher version ( V56 or 58) to include changes Majorly impacting the Collateral / Market Risk / Credit Risk/ Ops and settlement functionalities and modules.
There are also some impacts in MX technical areas , Reporting and EODs.
We require an experienced Murex Collateral consultant as a part of this upgrade project

Responsibilities

You will provide Murex Collateral Module consulting support with extensive experience of MX.3 Datamart module

The role will require a strong financial markets background across a range of asset classes (IRD, Fixed Income, Commodities) and exposure to LRB and LTS

The position will work closely with the existing Luxoft delivery team and face off to the business & client technology functions.

Skills

Must have

7+ years of relevant experience

Understanding of Legal Agreements (CSA/GMRA)

Understanding of Collateral stamping (including Murex setup)

Experience with MLC (Murex Limits Controller) for Collateral Exposure calculation

Back Office  knowledge: 

Understanding of Margin Calls/Expected Margin calls and EOD scripts

Collateral Exchange workflow (or at minimum MxML)

Collateral inventory and Allocation process

Exposure to the below will be an advantage:

working in Murex Upgrade Projects

Interest statements

Collateral exchange accounting

Knowledge on LRB creation and LTS scripts

Exposure to margining payments
