G5 Games seeks an experienced 2D Puzzle Grind Artist for a Match-3 project. Responsibilities include creating game assets such as chips, mechanics, and cards for various puzzle games (match-3, mahjong, merge). Collaboration with teams and outsourcing partners is crucial. The ideal candidate possesses strong 2D art skills, including understanding color, light, perspective, and proportions; mastery of Photoshop; and experience with iconography. The role requires adaptability to various tasks within the artist's expertise. This is a full-time remote position with a focus on casual game style.

You may know us from hit projects like Sherlock, Hidden City®, Mahjong Journey®, The Secret Society®, the Jewels series, and many others. 

We are currently looking for an experienced and talented 2D Puzzle Grind Artist to join our team. 

What you will work on: 

  • Work on various puzzle grind games like match-3, mahjong, merge, etc.;
  • Create chips, mechanics, cards—in short, everything that can be found on the playing field;
  • Work in a team and collaborate with outsourcers;
  • Work in casual style.

It’s important to us:

Extensive knowledge necessary to work within the specialty:

  • Basic knowledge of graphic design;
  • Some experience with small iconography.

Mastery of basic artistic disciplines and tools:

  • Understanding of the color and light rules;
  • Understanding of linear and aerial perspective;
  • Understanding of proportions;
  • General visual art skills: lighting, form, conveying the characteristics of materials, etc.;
  • Professional Photoshop skills.

Would be a great bonus:

  • Extensive experience in drawing various game icons;
  • Education or work experience in the field of graphic design or infographics.
