We're looking for an experienced Senior Technical Writer to join our Product Team. This is a hybrid role based out in Bangalore, India reporting to the Manager, Technical Publications. You will be responsible for:
- Translate technical information into clear documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Deliver post-sales content for online documentation (i.e., help articles, release notes, etc.) and provide UI text (i.e., UI tooltips, labels, error messages, etc.) for use by our UX and Engineering teams.
- Integrate graphics and illustrations to improve the quality and usability of the documentation.
- Work with SMEs in the Engineering, Field Support, Sales, Training, and Product Marketing groups. Project scheduling and management.
- Lead other technical writers on the team, and assist with documentation
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing. Bachelor's degree in technical writing, communications, or a related field (i.e., technical writing/communications certifications are also acceptable).
- Experience writing REST API documentation.
- Hands-on experience with Open API Specification (Swagger) JSON and JIRA
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience writing online help and knowledge base articles.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience in network or cloud security, HTML5/CSS, web-based or mobile products.
