Job Description

This Senior Associate role in Deployment Enablement at PwC focuses on optimizing HR processes and systems. Responsibilities include implementing technology solutions (PowerAutomate, PowerApps, Alteryx, PowerBi etc.), utilizing advanced analytics, streamlining HR processes, enhancing employee experience, and supporting business and human resource clients. The role involves managing multiple projects, working with confidential data, adapting to a rapidly changing environment, identifying process improvements, and providing tactical support to ensure operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with HRIS systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. They will also provide oversight and coaching to a team focused on tasks such as schedule updates, utilization forecasting, and reporting.

Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in people operations primarily focus on managing the people lifecycle and the day-to-day operational tasks related to managing employees. This includes activities such as employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll and benefits administration, absence management, employee record-keeping, compliance with labour laws and regulations, and managing employee inquiries and issues. These individuals enable HR processes and systems to run smoothly in order to efficiently support our workforce.

Those in HR information systems (HRIS), data and analytics at PwC will focus on enabling process optimization, automation, efficient data management, reporting and leveraging data to drive insights and make informed business decisions in the HRIS data and analytics space. Your work will involve implementing technology solutions and utilising advanced analytics techniques to streamline HR processes, enhance employee experience and support business and human resource clients to optimise operations and achieve strategic goals.

Basic Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

● Maintain quality control standards compliant with policies

● Create and maintain process documentation

● Utilizing relevant technology, such as Microsoft Office and other Firm sponsored web-based technologies.

● Working with confidential data

● Identifying and implementing process improvements

● Providing tactical support that enables the team to deliver operational efficiency and effectiveness

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

● Technological mindset to learn different technologies, such as TalentLink, Team Builder, FlexForecast, Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBi, UiPath, Workday, Service Now;

● Oral and written proficiency in English required, with ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

● Collaborate with internal clients and other stakeholder groups to identify process improvement opportunities;

● Adaptability to change as the business needs continue to evolve;

● Collaborate with all lines of service and scheduling tool users to identify improvements to the technology and processes, scope requirements and impacts related to proposed changes;

● Analyze current and future technology/process needs and recommend enhancements and solutions;

● Create and maintain documentation for deployment and scheduling processes;

● Facilitate execution of deployment enablement team deliverables;

● Provide oversight of and coaching/development to a team who are providing tactical support performing the following activities including schedule updates, utilization forecasting, timesheet analysis, follow on actions for full revenue recovery, sending staff confirmation communications as well as a variety of reporting and analysis mainly related to load balancing of resources;

● Serve as an escalation point for the team, working with management to raise issues and bring solutions;

● Staffing and deployment, HR processes and related areas, including utilization, scheduling, workforce planning, forecasting, etc.;

● Understanding the broader view of the business to fully understand all processes and procedures;

● Create and deliver deployment training to new team members;
