We’re looking to hire a Copy Editor for a Fortune 500 global financial services client. Our direct Fortune 500 client is looking for someone to join the Content team to edit and publish critical financial reports, including rating actions and credit analyses, ensuring adherence to strict deadlines and quality standards.
This is a 12 – month contract + possible extension. The team is located in New York, NY, and the role is fully remote. Onward Search provides benefits for 40 hour work week and weekly paychecks (W2) for duration of the contract.
Work Hours: Training: 10am - 6pm ET; Post-Training: 11am - 7pm ET. Interviews require to complete a written exercise.
Copy Editor Responsibilities:
- Edit and publish high-quality reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity under tight deadlines.
- Maintain consistency and adherence to the company's style guide and established article formats.
- Create professional, brand-aligned graphics using standard software tools, including Excel and Visio.
- Collaborate with the editorial team, providing support on various tasks as needed.
Content Editor Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, or Finance-related field.
- Exceptional English communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio)
- Interest in financial markets (desirable).
