Kratos is looking for a Software Developer to support development and enhancement of the Mission Data Processing Application Provider (MDPAP) system. MDPAP delivers critical applications for the Space Force’s missile warning mission as part of the Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) program. As part of the SciTec Team, Kratos software developers will further develop, tune, and integrate advanced algorithms, signal processing, graphical user interfaces, and data communications components to deliver operational software baselines for the real-time strategic and theater missile warning missions.

• Work with a team of contractors on MDPAP development and enhancements.
• Provide software documentation.
• Conduct testing and provide result documentation.

Experience and Skills:

• Current Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree
• C++
• Data/event driven visualization applications and 3D rendering libraries such as WebGL, OpenGL, CesiumJS, PlotlyJS, Three.js
• Minimum 5 years experience in Software development

Desired Skills and Experience

• Unreal Engine or Unity
• Python
• JavaScript (React and Node)
• Docker, Kubernetes
• CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile development tools and methodologies
• Gitlab, Jira, and Confluence
• Ability to react quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Collaborate working in a team environment of contractors.
• Ability to communicate technical approaches and details within small project teams, including team interaction and presentation
• A working knowledge of Microsoft® Office software tools.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires the ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance. To be eligible for a clearance, US Citizenship is required.

Location: Boulder, Colorado. This is not a remote position.

Competitive salary based on experience and education
Salary Range: $125,000-$135,000
