With a focus on India, KRAFTON is dedicated to nurturing the gaming and start-up ecosystem. In line with this commitment, KRAFTON initiated the KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator (KIGI) in October 2023. KIGI aims to support 6-10 teams annually with program durations ranging from six months to one year. Additionally, KRAFTON India has invested over $150 million in the Indian market in the past two years and has committed an additional $150 million to the Indian start-up ecosystem over the next three years.

[ABOUT THE ROLE]

Krafton has already deployed more than $150 Million in the last 15 months and have aggressive plans for investments and M&As in India and MENA regions. We are looking to add a self-motivated and energetic Analyst who has a strong interest in making a career in gaming, who will play an important role in the team in scaling our footprint. This is an extremely high impact role that will require the person to take initiative, and significant opportunities exist for career growth for an individual looking to put in the required hours and effort.

[RESPONSIBILITIES]

• Deal screening: Perform market research to help identify new investment trends and opportunities. Network with peers in other Venture Capital Firms.

• Meeting Summary Capturing: Take down meeting minutes and ensure that key deliverables and future agenda is recorded in internal CRM

• Maintenance of Records of Companies and Funds met: Ensure that the internal CRM capturing learnings and details from meetings with Companies and Funds is kept updated and all the latest details and documents (Pitch decks, financial models, financial projections, deal intelligence) shared by Companies / Funds are updated into the online database.

• Portfolio Management Ops: Be the interface operations wise between HQ and Portfolio companies in terms of all compliances Financial or legal. Maintaining a book of board resolutions for each portfolio company ensuring all decisions are properly recorded.

• Deal documentation support: Help in assessment of companies as part of investment team. Deal flow documentation in internal systems including creating internal pitch decks and other documentation. Summarize call notes, enter deals into internal CRM.

• Deal execution support: Assist in operations in executing deals working with internal teams in HQ and globally (Finance, Accounting, Legal, HR, etc.)

• Due Diligence Vendor management: Gather information from the target company and industry experts. Research potential competitors to the target company. Manage various stakeholders in operations for FDD and LDD.

[ ROLE REQUIREMENTS]

• No prior work experience required but interest in start-ups and / or video games, is required.

• Extremely high attention-to-detail is the basic requirement for this role. The individual needs to have the ability to put in long hours to complete the documentation and maintain records, as well as spend time learning more about the industry on their own.

• A track record of being pro-active and self-driven, and taking the initiative is required.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

• Most importantly an attitude to go above and beyond in getting the little things done.

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Commerce / Law from a top school desired.

• Excellent academic performance throughout school and college, as well as leadership positions in extracurricular activities / clubs desired
