Room 8 Studio is seeking a proactive Team Manager to ensure seamless team coordination, optimize workload distribution, and maintain capacity availability in line with project and business objectives.

you have are

2+ years of experience in a managerial role, with direct responsibility for people and team performance management;

Strong knowledge of Project and People Management principles, with the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a creative team;

Proven experience managing a team of 10+ people, including involvement in the hiring process and team capacity planning;

Proficiency in documentation and reporting tools (Word, Google Docs) and spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets), with advanced skills in formula management;

Familiarity with time-tracking and project/CRM systems (Jira, Asana, Redmine), with a solid understanding of their core principles and functionalities;
-
Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts, negotiate, and foster effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders;

Result-oriented and committed to long-term cooperation, with a focus on team success and achieving project objectives;

Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English (both written and spoken) for effective communication, collaboration, and reporting across global teams.
As a part of Room 8
studio, you will
- Hire talents according to the Hiring Plan, control and analyze the recruitment process to fill in team positions;
- Perform all functions as Direct Manager: provide onboarding, training and support to new specialists and conduct termination process, etc;
- Develop and control the team specialist’s PDP (Personal Development Plan) and coordinate learning materials and program creation;
- Screen the new requests assigned by the Sub-Division Director or Head of the Division and allocate resources to estimate the project;
- Check capacity availability and plan the team’s resources based on current team members’ workloads, skills and development targets of the specialists;
- Participate in the preparation of the monthly budget of the direction, preparation of information on the team’s needs for the next month;
- Participate in kick-off, retrospective and post-mortem meetings to analyze and improve team performance;
- Analyse team performance and prepare reports according to the Division Performance Review Process;
- Follow the current processes and integration of new internal processes of the company;
- Participate in developing new processes based on the gap in the current structure;
- Work tightly with the Sub-Division Director on the new team coordination processes within the art discipline.
