About the role:

Meptik are looking for a Technical Project Management to join our expanding team. This position will sit within Meptik (a Disguise business), and also the Global Disguise organisation.

The Technical Project Management will be helping Meptik deliver complex client-facing technical projects: specifically related to virtual production, LED stages, and other immersive technologies.

This role acts as Meptik's client representative onsite and manages all the moving pieces between outside vendors, installers and the Meptik/Disguise teams.

This person will have solid client-facing project management experience as well as experience managing physical technical installations or live events, and excellent communication skills.

The Technical Project Manager is a pivotal role at Meptik to ensure some of our most exciting virtual production projects are delivered on time and to budget.

What you will do:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of onsite, client facing, technical physical installation projects
• Responsible for the successful delivery of these projects, to budget, on time and to a high standard
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans
• Define project scope and objectives
• Manage resource allocation
• Set up Project/ Production processes and governance related to onsite execution
• Manage client and vendor relationship to ensure a seamless onsite experience
• Manage internal stakeholders within Meptik/Disguise (including the project, technical and creative teams)
• Ensure strong & clear communication between all parties in a given project.
• Track the procurement, delivery, installation, QCing, and documentation of all sold equipment
• Monitor project progress and performance to identify areas for improvement
• Identify risks and potential roadblocks, and problem solving effectively
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
• Quality control the physical equipment and documentation
• Complete any project administrative tasks such as scheduling resources and booking travel

Experience we are looking for:

• Experience managing multiple client facing projects concurrently, to budget on time, and to a high quality
• Experience managing project budgets in excess of $1M alongside a Financial team
• Experience managing technical physical installations, on client site
• Experience in EITHER virtual production, XR, broadcast OR live events
• Experience with various technical gear related to video production and video engineering (LED walls, networking, screen control systems, media servers, and pixel-canvas management)
• Experience working in video system design and system integration
• Experience executing projects utilising technical designs
• Experience working with and managing relationships with external vendors, as well as influencing internal stakeholders
• Ability to travel onsite to client locations, potentially globally
