Job Description

The Territory Manager will be responsible for driving new business, nurturing relationships, and collaborating with channel partners. The role involves developing sales activities with new commercial segment customers, cold calling to generate leads, and leveraging partners to close deals. The manager will drive account strategies, coordinate team selling efforts, and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. This includes forecasting, managing accounts in CRM, and engaging with strategic alliance partners. The position requires participation in marketing activities within the territory. The ideal candidate is a high-energy salesperson with experience in direct sales, especially with virtualization, cloud, and SaaS technologies. Experience with channel sales and a proven ability to develop new sales are essential. The role requires fluency in French and English, and the ability to travel.

Territory Manager – Veeam Located in Bordeaux / Nantes

Job Functions

Develops sales activities with commercial segment new customers; upsells and cross sells to the existing commercial customers
Cold calls to develop sales activities with a large number of new mid-market and high-segment end users
Leverage partners to close sales with their end customers
Drives account strategies and coordinates team selling efforts with Inside Sales Reps, Channel Partner Managers, Marketing, Sales Engineering and others to close business
Effectively executes a territory plan to maximize revenue
Enters forecasting and account/opportunity details in Veeam’s CRM (SalesForce)
Engages with Veeam Strategic Alliance partners to drive mutually beneficial revenue opportunities
Proposes, coordinates and participates to marketing activities within the territory (West France)

Job Requirements

Fluent in French & English
Direct, new business sales experience
Experience with vendors associated with Virtualization, Cloud & SaaS technology is a plus
Have an experience of selling through channel and direct (knowledge of Public Framework)
Track record of selling to technical and commercial decision makers
Proven ability to develop new sales
Be a self-starter with the ability to learn quickly
Be a high-energy sales person
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly
Be comfortable travelling for at least 50% of the time.
