What will you do in SuperPlay?


Position Title: Unity Team Lead

Location: Poland, Spain, Portugal (Full Remote)

Contract Type: B2B Collaboration 


We seek an experienced and passionate Unity Team Lead to join our talented development team. As the Unity Team Lead, you will guide a team of skilled Unity developers, QA engineers, and technical artists, playing a pivotal role in the success of our products. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will ensure the delivery of high-quality, performant games that delight our players.


Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor, a production team of Unity developers, QA, and technical artists. Foster a collaborative and innovative development environment.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to discuss and define technical requirements for game features and mechanics.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the best possible application performance, quality, and responsiveness under your team's supervision.
  • Optimization: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, optimizing game performance and memory usage to ensure smooth gameplay across diverse mobile devices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest Unity features, best practices, and industry trends, and promote continuous improvement within the development process.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Unity development and C# programming. At least 3 years of experience working on well-known mobile or AAA game titles.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using Unity tools and plugins such as UniTask, Zenject, Timeline, and async.
  • Optimization Skills: Knowledge and experience in optimizing memory and space usage.
  • Network Expertise: In-depth knowledge of network protocols and socket programming.
  • Programming Principles: Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and familiarity with current design and architectural patterns.
  • Code Quality: Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code, and guide your team to do the same.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills with experience leading and mentoring a team of developers.
  • Debugging and Optimization: Excellent profiling, debugging, and optimization skills.
  • Scrum Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Scrum methodologies, planning, and estimation techniques.
  • Communication Skills: Strong code review skills and the ability to guide and motivate your team effectively.
