We are poised for unprecedented growth and expansion in the coming year.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead UX Designer to lead our UX design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user-centered design, a deep understanding of the gaming industry, and the ability to drive the creation of exceptional user experiences. This role requires a visionary leader who can inspire and mentor a team, while also contributing hands-on to the design process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of UX designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Conduct and oversee user research initiatives to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points. Translate these insights into actionable design strategies
  • Develop and implement comprehensive UX strategies that enhance user engagement and satisfaction, aligning with the overall vision and goals of our games
  • Create and oversee the production of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience
  • Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate UX design seamlessly into the development process
  • Plan and conduct usability testing sessions, analyze results, and iterate on designs to continually improve the user experience
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, user research findings, and design decisions

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Game Design, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in UX design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong proficiency in UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools
  • Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
  • Proven ability to conduct and analyze user research and usability testing
  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Game Design, or a related field
  • Experience working in similar roles in the gaming industry
  • Desire to work in an early-stage, fast-paced environment with a degree of ambiguity
  • Ability to work during a daily overlap of a few hours with the rest of the team (starting 14:00 UTC)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
