Role Description:

This is a hybrid role based in Kolkata for a 2D Animator at Dravya Online Services Pvt Ltd. The 2D animator will be responsible for creating 2D animation sequences for films, television shows, video games, and other forms of media. The 2D animator will also collaborate with other members of the creative team to develop storyboards and create engaging animations that bring characters and stories to life.

Qualifications

• Experience in creating 2D animation sequences using software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, or Harmony
• Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, and weight
• Ability to create visually appealing and dynamic animations that capture the emotion and spirit of a story or character
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from the creative lead
• Bachelor's degree or higher in animation, fine arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Experience in creating animations for films, television, video games, or other forms of media is a plus
• Experience with 3D animation software (such as Maya or Blender) is a plus
