3D Animator

Position Summary:

The 3D Designer is responsible for creating visually stunning and technically accurate three-dimensional models. This role requires a blend of artistic creativity, technical proficiency, and attention to detail to produce high-quality visual content for various applications, virtual reality, advertising, and architectural visualization.

Key Responsibilities:

3D Modeling:

• Create detailed 3D models of characters, objects, environments, and architectural elements based on concept art or technical specifications.

• Use modeling software (such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max) to sculpt, texture, and refine models, ensuring accuracy and realism.

• Optimize models for efficiency and performance in real-time applications or animations.

Animation:

• Rig 3D models with skeletal structures and controls to enable animation.

• Create key frame animations, motion capture data integration, or procedural animations to bring characters and objects to life.

• Fine-tune animations for smoothness, timing, and expression, ensuring they align with project requirements and specifications.

Lighting and Rendering:

• Set up virtual lighting environments to illuminate 3D scenes effectively.

• Adjust lighting parameters, shadows, and reflections to achieve desired visual effects and mood.

• Render high-quality images or animations using rendering software (such as V-Ray, Arnold, or Unreal Engine) while optimizing render settings for efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, animation, visual effects, or related field (preferred).

• Proven experience as a 3D artist or designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.

• Proficiency in 3D modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, and rendering techniques.

• Expertise in industry-standard 3D software packages, such as Autodesk Maya, Max, Blender, Substance Painter, etc.

• Knowledge of rendering engines and software.

• Understanding of anatomy, physics, and motion principles for realistic character and object animation.

• Strong artistic skills, including a keen eye for detail, composition, color, and lighting.
