Job Description & Summary

A career in Learning and Development, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the success of our people by developing quality and relevant learning initiatives that constantly improve the PwC experience. You’ll help us identify and source the best instructors, develop learning and performance improvement solutions across traditional and virtual classroom environments, and consult with other areas of the Firm to ensure our curriculums and initiatives support the PwC strategy.

Our Digital Learning team supports internal leaders by developing and implementing targeted learning materials. As part of the team, you’ll help develop Digital Learning materials, multimedia classes and other interactive products that play an important role in the education of our people.

The Technology and Innovation Manager is responsible for driving technological advancements and fostering innovation across the Academy. This role involves identifying emerging technologies, evaluating their business potential, and implementing innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency, product development, and customer engagement. The role is key in promoting a culture of innovation, collaborating across departments, and ensuring the Academy stays at the forefront of technological trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovation Strategy Development:
    Develop and execute the Academy's technology and innovation strategy aligned with business goals.

  • Technology Trend Analysis:
    Monitor and analyze emerging technologies (AI, IoT, blockchain, etc.) and assess their impact on the business and industry.

  • Innovation Culture Leadership:
    Foster a culture of innovation by promoting creative thinking and encouraging experimentation across teams.

  • Project Management:
    Lead cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of innovative solutions from conception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and outcomes are met.

  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
    Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including tech vendors, startups, and industry experts, to identify opportunities for innovation and technology-driven improvements.

  • Technology Solutions Evaluation:
    Research, recommend, and implement cutting-edge technologies that support business operations and objectives.

  • Process Improvement:
    Identify opportunities for process automation, digital transformation, and operational efficiency improvements through technology adoption.

  • Training & Development:
    Lead initiatives to educate and train staff on the latest technology trends and tools, ensuring that teams are equipped to leverage new technologies effectively.

  • Budgeting & Resource Allocation:
    Manage budgets related to technology initiatives and allocate resources effectively to achieve innovation goals.

  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    Ensure technology projects comply with regulatory requirements and manage potential risks associated with technological changes.

  • Metrics & Reporting:

Measure the success of innovation initiatives through key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on progress to senior management.

​Qualifications:

  • Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • 7+ years of experience in technology management, innovation, or a similar role.

    • Proven track record of leading technology and innovation projects.

    • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and working with diverse stakeholders.

  • Technical Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of application development tools and software development life cycle (PHP, Python, Laravel, jQuery, ReactJS .. etc)

    • Strong knowledge in Cloud management (Azure and GCP)

    • Strong knowledge in AI and GenAI

    • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).

  • Leadership Skills:

    • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    • Ability to inspire and lead innovation efforts across the Academy.

  • Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking:

Ability to think strategically, challenge the status quo, and propose innovative solutions to complex problems.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Background in education and training is a plus

  • Passion for technology and staying updated with the latest trends.
