Job Description

As a Content Review Specialist at Xsolla, you will review current and new games and projects to ensure compliance with internal legal policies. You will also evaluate incoming developer applications, guide them through onboarding, and support the legal team with gaming-related inquiries and casework. Additionally, you'll assist in resolving legal issues related to partnerships and conduct research on games, trends, and compliance risks. This role requires a strong understanding of the gaming industry, including publishers, developers, major and niche titles, genres, and franchises.
Must have:
  • Strong knowledge of the gaming industry: publishers, developers, major and niche titles.
  • Understanding of concepts like game mods, servers, and hosting.
  • Familiarity with popular culture: recognize characters, logos, and environments from movies, shows, and games.
  • Awareness of digital trends: NFTs, AI-generated content, crypto, etc.
  • English proficiency: B2 level or higher.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with an interest in legal compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Review current and new games (and other projects) for compliance with internal legal policies
    • Evaluate incoming developer applications and guide them through onboarding
    • Support the legal team with gaming-related inquiries and casework
    • Assist with resolving legal issues tied to developer and publisher partnerships
    • Conduct ad hoc research on games, trends, and compliance risks

REQUIREMENTS

    • Strong knowledge of the gaming industry: publishers, developers, major and niche titles, genres, franchises, etc.
    • Understanding of concepts like:
    • Game mods, servers, hosting
    • Monetization (IAPs, loot boxes, DLCs, pre-orders, gacha)
    • Basic game development workflows
    • Familiarity with popular culture: recognize characters, logos, environments from movies, shows, and games
    • Awareness of digital trends: NFTs, AI-generated content, crypto, etc.
    • English proficiency: B2 level or higher
    • Detail-oriented mindset with an interest in legal compliance
