Join our team and help us continue to make this an exceptional place to work!As an Analog Integrated-Circuit Design Intern, you will be part of a collaborative team developing high-performance, mixed-signal, integrated circuits, including those with innovative data converters, power converters, and a variety of other circuitry in advanced CMOS processes. You will participate in and benefit from our company values and culture that include innovation, collaboration, execution, and continuous improvement. You will play a meaningful role in developing next-generation devices and ensuring that leading consumer electronics manufacturers can easily integrate our devices into their products. Responsibilities:
- Participate in development of CMOS mixed-signal circuitry through all phases of development from concept to production release
- Model solutions using tools such as Matlab, Simulink, Verilog-A, and SystemVerilog
- Implement and simulate transistor level designs using Cadence Virtuoso tools
- Review layout implementation and perform post layout simulations and optimizations
- Evaluate, learn, and debug devices in the lab after design
- Support post-silicon activities including product validation, characterization, and production test
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s or PhD candidate in electrical engineering
- Strong knowledge of basic analog integrated circuits
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong collaboration through oral and written communication
- Available for full-time, in-office employment, hybrid work (up to 5 days per week)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of low-noise and low-power circuit design techniques
- Knowledge of discrete-time and continuous-time signal processing
- Knowledge of analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog data conversion architectures, transistor-level design, and simulation
- Knowledge of power conversion architectures, transistor-level design, and simulation
- Knowledge of control theory for power conversion solutions
This position is located in Greensboro, NC.
