Convention Service Attendants at Disneyland Resort are responsible for setting up and maintaining banquet rooms for special events. This involves heavy lifting, arranging tables and chairs according to event orders, ensuring cleanliness of event spaces, and maintaining organization of storage areas and service areas. They interact with internal guests, set up linens, gather necessary materials, stage silverware and glassware, and refresh rooms during breaks. The role requires speed, accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include striking rooms after events, returning supplies to designated areas, completing stock records, and organizing linens and supplies. Various shifts are available, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Summary:

Convention Service Attendants make magic behind the scenes by setting up our banquet rooms for special events. They may work a variety of shifts that include breakfast, lunch, dinner or late night events. Heavy lifting related to setting up and breaking down events is a major part of this role. They are responsible for obtaining, assembling and arranging tables and chairs for all Banquet events/functions, according to the banquet event order, keeping all event spaces, storage areas, foyers and service areas clean and organized.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for interacting with our internal guests behind the scenes in a positive and friendly manner
  • Responsible for setting up banquet room/event by setting up tables and chairs in event space including linen
  • Adjust and arranges air walls
  • Obtain, assemble and arrange tables and chairs according to the Banquet Event Order
  • Gather all necessary materials/equipment for event operation
  • Stages and plates silverware, glassware and all table accoutrements for event in designated lay down area
  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of banquet area throughout the event and removing trash
  • Vacuums, dusts, mop and perform general cleaning in meeting and event rooms
  • Keeps all event spaces, storages areas, foyers, and service areas clean and organized
  • Refreshes room during event breaks (i.e. water stations)
  • Strikes room at end of event
  • Responsible for ensuring that china, silverware and glassware are returned to the proper dish machine area
  • Completes stock and spoilage records as needed
  • Maintains and operates banquet vehicles
  • Counts, sorts and organizes linens and other banquet supplies (table, chairs, etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
  • Ability to multi task and work in a very fast paced environment
  • Able to do heavy lifting of tables and chairs
  • Speed, accuracy and efficiency are required and ability to work well under pressure
  • Self-directed (can complete tasks with minimal supervision)
  • Flexible/adaptable
  • Supportive of other cast working on your team
  • Can complete repetitious tasks while maintaining quality

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events.
