We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Description Summary:

Event Marketing Manager to develop strategic planning and implementation on enterprise marketing events to drive acquisition leads gen and grow existing business pipeline through diversified marketing events across tradeshow, partnership co-marketing, and PayPal hosted events.

Job Description:

  • Own the events from conception to measurement, including strategy formulation, 3rd party vendor/partner negotiation on event opportunity, event planning/registration/organization and evaluation, content/creative/speaker engagement and cross-functional partnering.
  • Work with multi-layer stakeholders and external agency & partners to ensure seamless event planning, execution and tracking with operational excellence and commercial outcome.
  • Manage the budgets for the events and optimize efficiency & ROI, while delivering best-in-class customer experience in events.
  • Measure the success of events through post-event analysis, gathering customer and internal stakeholder feedback, and providing insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years’ experience in event marketing, for B2B business, with a proven record of building and executing high-impact events.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Be able to work under high-pressure, and can independently remove blockers and make decisions.
  • Skilled negotiation with experience in finding creative ways to do more with less and staying within budget.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, especially on cross-border export business, technologies and event best practices to bring innovation to create great customer experiences.
  • Ability to identify better ways of working at scale through building new mechanisms and processes.
