Software QA Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our development team for a React and .NET web application. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automated testing using Python and Robot Framework, as well as experience with Jira and Azure DevOps. A strong understanding of CI/CD processes is essential. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web application through comprehensive testing and quality assurance practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Robot Framework
• Design and execute manual and automated test cases for React and .NET components
• Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve software defects
• Manage test cases, bug reports, and project documentation in Jira
• Utilize Azure DevOps for version control, build management, and deployment
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to the development team
• Contribute to improving overall software quality and testing processes
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging testing technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
• Proficiency in Python programming and test automation using Robot Framework
• Knowledge of automated API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI
• Experience testing React-based front-end applications
• Familiarity with .NET framework and C# programming language
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologiess
• Strong knowledge of Jira for project management and bug tracking
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and practices
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
