Job Description

The Customer Success Manager will provide a first-class experience to business customers, aiming to drive maximum value. They will focus on driving product adoption and utilization, manage account renewals and expansion, and contribute to revenue growth in EMEA. The role involves onboarding, adoption, and growth within the existing customer base by owning specific accounts. The CSM will also collaborate with the sales team, innovate on customer success programs, and identify opportunities to expand existing accounts.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of Customer Success experience at a fast-growing software company.
  • Fluent French speaker.
  • Highly adaptable in a rapidly changing business and industry.

Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for two Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and requests that employees spend the majority of their week in the office (including a third day).

About The Role:

At Notion we love our customers and we hope they love product too. Our Customer Success team are primarily charged with providing our business customers with a first class experience and aiming to drive maximum value against their requirements. Driving product adoption and utilisation through a range of tactics to ensure a strong account health score. Also partnering with our sales team to manage renewal and expansion of our account base to help grow Notion in EMEA

We're looking for a motivated Dedicated Customer Success Manager, France with an entrepreneurial and building spirit to join our Customer Success team! The French region has been one of the most important markets for us. As an early member of the team, you'll be instrumental in helping define our sales and customer success motion, meaningfully shape our future product, and drive business revenue, all while having a blast doing it!

What You'll Achieve:

  • Drive onboarding, adoption, utilisation, and growth in Notion’s existing customer base by owning specific customer accounts
  • Learn our product inside and out and help your customers drive business outcomes
  • Proactively identify customers who aren’t maximising their opportunity with our product/service and reach out to create an action plan to help them achieve success
  • Partner with the Sales team on accounts to expand use cases and create stickier customers
  • Collaborate with our Sales team to realise successful renewals and expansions
  • Innovate and iterate on Customer Success programs to retain and grow customers while mitigating churn or contraction
  • Surface opportunities to expand existing accounts when it’s right for the customer
  • Document and share key findings/learnings with broader Notion organisation

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

  • You have 5+ years experience of Customer Success at a fast growing software company with a track record of high achievement
  • You are a fluent French speaker
  • You’re highly adaptable, easily acclimating to a rapidly changing business and industry
  • You have a growth mindset and view setbacks as learning opportunities, not failures
  • Strong intrinsic motivation to be a top performer and contribute to a team
  • You can put yourself in others’ shoes and see situations from perspectives other than your own
  • You’re motivated by seeing others succeed and grow when you partner with them
  • You love getting to know new people and helping them solve their business problems

Nice to Haves:

  • You have experience training users of SaaS products
  • You have experience working with user communities
  • You've been an early customer success hire at a fast growing start up before
  • You've got strong technical chops
  • You have experience using Notion
  • You have experience using tools like Gainsight, Outreach, Salesforce
