Job Description

The Data Engineer will require 6-7 years of experience with strong understanding of Data & Analytics concepts and technologies, including data lakes, Data Pipelines, visualization, and reporting, with a focus on creating business value. The role involves proficiency in big data technologies including AWS Redshift, Spark, Python, complex SQL. Also, experience with Shell scripting, Docker, Kubernetes & AWS and Data pipelines orchestration tools like DataIku, Airflow or Argo Workflows is needed. The engineer should possess strong data analytical and troubleshooting skills with excellent communication skills. The candidate should be customer-focused with a 'service first' mentality and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Must have:
  • 6-7 years of experience in Data & Analytics.
  • Proficiency in AWS Redshift, Spark, Python and SQL.
  • Experience with Shell scripting, Docker, Kubernetes & AWS.
  • Experience with Data pipelines orchestration tools.
Good to have:
  • Experience with DBT & Dataiku.
  • Experience querying big data, using tools like Hive, Presto.
  • Experience with SQL and Bitbucket.
  • Good knowledge of Data Architecture, Data Modelling.

  • Experience with Shell scripting, Docker, Kubernetes & AWS
  • Good to have DBT & Dataiku, Kubernetes cluster
  • Experience querying big data, using tools like, Hive, Presto.
  • Experience with SQL and Bitbucket
  • Good knowledge of Data Architecture, Data Modelling, and Metadata Management best practices.
  • Experience with Data pipelines orchestration tools like DataIku, Airflow or Argo Workflows
  • Strong data analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the capability to handle and take ownership of critical issues until resolution.
  • Customer-focused with a 'service first' mentality and excellent communication skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and when faced with adversity or urgent issues.
