Position Overview : As a DevSecOps Engineer at The Level AI, you will integrate security practices into our development and operational processes, focusing on GCP security, cloud infrastructure security, and identity management. You will collaborate with development, IT, and security teams to automate and streamline security controls while ensuring compliance and robust security postures across our GCP-based environment.

Responsibilities :

Implement and manage security measures within GCP environments, ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices.
- Integrate Okta for seamless identity management, focusing on SSO and MFA configurations.
- Leverage Zscaler for secure internet and SaaS access, ensuring comprehensive threat protection and policy enforcement.
- Automate security processes, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and vulnerability management.
- Work closely with engineering teams to embed security early in the SDLC through automated testing, code review, and threat modeling.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines for cloud and identity security.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, applying best practices for detection, response, and mitigation.
- Ensure a secure SDLC by integrating security best practices into the software development process.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats, tools, and trends, applying them to continuously improve security postures.
- Collaborate with third-party auditors and security teams to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5-7 years of experience in DevSecOps, with a focus on GCP, Okta, and Zscaler.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and hands-on experience securing GCP environments.
Proficiency with Okta’s identity and access management solutions, including SSO and MFA implementations.
Experience working with Zscaler for secure internet and SaaS access.
Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes, with a focus on integrating security into the pipeline (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).
Familiarity with automation and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Terraform).
Experience implementing and managing security controls in GCP environments.
Knowledge of security frameworks and standards like NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with development, operations, and security teams.
Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Okta Certified Professional, Zscaler certifications) are a plus.
