The Enterprise Cloud and Edge Solutions Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving the adoption of Wind River Studio Cloud Platform and eLxr PRO solutions in the Automotive sector across EMEA. This role involves identifying growth opportunities, achieving sales targets, collaborating with account teams, and demonstrating the value proposition of Wind River's solutions. The specialist will need to maintain comprehensive knowledge of Wind River's offerings, stay informed about industry trends, translate strategy into actionable plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, edge computing, and their applications in the Automotive sector, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with C-level executives.
Must have:
  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise software sales.
  • Focus on cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and Linux solutions for Automotive.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong background in managing partnerships with Automotive OEMs.
  • Technical acumen to articulate benefits of Wind River Studio Cloud Platform.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Wind River is seeking a dynamic and experienced Enterprise Cloud and Edge Solutions Sales Specialist to drive the adoption of our cutting-edge Wind River Studio Cloud Platform and eLxr PRO solutions in the Automotive sector across EMEA. This role is crucial for expanding Wind River's presence in the enterprise Linux and cloud-native markets, focusing on our advanced Kubernetes-based distributed cloud architecture and enterprise Linux offerings. Responsibilities: Lead engagement with key Automotive OEMs in EMEA, identifying growth opportunities for Wind River Studio Cloud Platform and eLxr PRO. Achieve and exceed sales targets for Wind River Studio Cloud Platform and eLxr PRO in the automotive sector. Contribute to Wind River's short-term and long-term growth objectives in EMEA. Collaborate with Wind River account teams to align our cloud and Linux solutions with existing and potential automotive customers. Demonstrate the value proposition of Wind River's solutions in enhancing automotive software development and deployment processes. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Wind River Studio Cloud Platform, emphasizing its Kubernetes-based architecture and distributed cloud capabilities. Develop a deep understanding of eLxr PRO and its advantages over competitors in the enterprise Linux space. Stay informed about product developments, industry trends, and emerging technologies in cloud-native and edge computing for automotive applications. Translate Wind River's cloud and Linux strategy into actionable plans that drive revenue growth in the Automotive sector. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer implementations. Pipeline planning - Follow a disciplined approach to maintaining a rolling pipeline. Keep the pipeline current and move the Sales Cycle. Qualifications: 12+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with a focus on cloud platforms, Kubernetes and Linux-based solutions for the Automotive industry. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in competitive markets. Strong background in managing partnerships with Automotive OEMs and understanding their unique technological needs. Technical acumen to articulate the benefits of Wind River Studio Cloud Platform's Kubernetes architecture and eLxr PRO's enterprise Linux capabilities to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies, edge computing, and their applications in the Automotive sector. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-level executives in the Automotive industry. #LI-AW1
