Job Description

This is a general expression of interest for experienced AAA professionals across various disciplines, including Engineering (C++ and Unreal), Art (3D, 2D, Technical Art, Animation), Quality Assurance, Production, and Game Design, with a preference for those with a minimum of three years of experience in delivering games. The majority of positions are hybrid, but remote work within Australia or the state is considered for senior roles. Candidates must have valid working rights in Australia. The recruitment process includes an initial screening call, potential online tests, and panel interviews. If unsuccessful, feedback will be provided.
Must have:
  • Experienced AAA professionals in relevant fields.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in game development.
  • Valid working rights to work in Australia.
  • Proficiency in Engineering (C++ and Unreal).
  • Experience in 3D, 2D, Technical Art, or Animation.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance, Production, or Game Design.
  • Portfolio submissions are required for Art positions.

    Keywords Studios Australia are always seeking experienced AAA professionals across the following disciplines:

    • Engineering (C++ and Unreal)
    • Art (3D, 2D, Technical Art, Animation) Please include portfolio
    • Quality Assurance
    • Production
    • Game Design
    • UIUX 

    Our preference when considering applications are for those with a minimum of three years experience, having delivered games across either PC, Console or Nintendo. 

    Unfortunately if you have no prior experience and/or are not studying in the field,  we are unable to consider your application at this time. 

    The vast majority of positions are hybrid. Depending on the role, we are happy to negotiate what that might look like for you. For more senior roles, we also consider fully remote (Within State or Australia) work preferences, although we still encourage people to get into the office where possible. Therefor, we are only considering those individuals with valid working rights to work in Australia and are either already residing in Australia, or relocating to Australia.

    Our recruitment process. 

    Typically consists of an initial screening call with our Head of Talent Acquisition. If both parties like what they hear and are keen to move forward there may be an online test involved (Engineering, QA). Depending on the outcome of this, one or two panel interviews via Teams or In Person will take place. This process can be as quick as two to three weeks. 

    If you are unsuccessful, you will be provided with feedback.

    As we look to continually improve our applicant experience, we conduct random short surveys and if selected, would love for you to provide us with two minutes of your time to complete the anonymous survey.

    Our recruitment process typically consists of an initial review of your application and if suitable followed with a Teams or Phone interview. For those selected to progress further it may include an online assessment, and two interviews which can be conducted onsite or remote. 

    All applications will be responded to within five to ten business days where possible. For those who make it to interview stage, feedback will also be provided.
