The Graphic Designer at Build a Rocket Boy will be responsible for creating assets for various projects, including concepting and producing high-quality assets, developing presentation materials, and collaborating with other divisions. The role requires managing multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing brand guidelines, and ensuring alignment with brand standards. The designer will also enhance overall Marketing efforts. This role involves strong communication and collaboration to create engaging creative assets for 360 marketing campaigns and other studio-wide projects.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of graphic design experience in the Gaming industry
  • Experience designing a large-scale campaign
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite and other tools
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, and typography
  • Effective communication skills; both oral and written

Description

The Graphic Designer of Global Marketing at Build a Rocket Boy will be responsible for creative and asset development for various projects for the studio. The responsibilities include concepting and creating assets that align with the studio’s creative strategy, as well as developing presentation materials for use by all divisions. This role requires strong communication skills, collaboration with multiple teams, and the ability to manage simultaneous projects and deadlines.  



Key Responsibilities

  • Development/design of engaging creative assets for 360 marketing campaigns, in both physical and digital formats, for various projects throughout the studio.  
  • Concepting and producing high-quality assets (3D cinematics, key art, animation), creating an asset library for use across all divisions as well as producing materials for project-specific needs.  
  • Develop and design presentation materials as needed.  
  • Collaborate with other divisions throughout the studio to develop all necessary creative materials.  
  • Manage deadlines and schedules across multiple projects simultaneously.  
  • Oversee and continually update brand guidelines, style guide materials, and best practices to ensure consistency among all creative studio-wide.  
  • Review all design projects to ensure any creative materials produced are high-quality and aligned with brand standards and the full marketing campaign.  
  • Work with internal BARB teams to enhance overall Marketing efforts.  



Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of graphic design experience in the Gaming industry. 
  • Previous experience designing a large-scale campaign. 
  • Previous experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Previous experience with international clients/contacts preferred. 
  • Must have advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, OneDrive, Adobe Acrobat, Miro, Project management tools (Jira, Asana). 
  • Must have knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, visual composition, logos, typography. 
  • Must have effective communication skills; both oral and written, with internal teams and external clients/partners.
