We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Head of Technology Operations for Tencent Games Global reporting directly to the Tencent Games Global CTO. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology operations and administration to ensure the Tencent Games Global Technology teams meet its short-term and long term objectives.

Responsibilities include company wide technology and cross-functional alignment, coordination, communication, project management, staffing, financing, report generation and day to day driving of all technology efforts. You will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, collaborating with internal and external leaders, and ensuring the overall success of our technology initiatives.  

Responsibilities 

• Oversee CTO daily business and administrative operations
• Continuously assess and enhance internal and external technology operations and processes for optimal efficiency
• Formulate and present strategy and technology recommendations to our CTO and other leaders
• Drive internal and cross-functional efforts through best-in-class collaboration, project management, communication and reporting 
• Define objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and assess how critical initiatives and investments are delivering results for Tencent
• Provide strategic direction and leadership in project management activities, including defining project scope, objectives, and timelines
• Develop reports to monitor implementation of new technology initiatives
• Use data-driven insights to inform technology implementation and strategic priorities 
• Monitor the performance of technology initiatives and projects, identifying potential risks and deviations from established plans
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners and vendors

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating in successful technology and game environments and on highly successful products
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical project management or technology/engineering operations 
• Strong leadership and communicate skills (written and verbal) to work with senior leaders across various geographies and functions
• Ability to thrive under pressure, prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools and techniques 
• Passion for learning and innovation – build and identify new methodologies/technologies to tackle business problems 
• Proficient in both business and technical discussions

The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $142,280 to $261,180 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
