The Strategic Sourcing Manager is a key member of the Global Sourcing Team at Play Doh and will contribute to the definition and implementation of the Sourcing Strategy and Supply Network for their assigned product category. They will lead the Operations Excellence and Productivity Improvements program for their supply network and support the Design to Value and Manufacturing Excellence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of procurement and/or supplier management experience at an MNC with international exposure, a Master’s degree in a related discipline, proficiency in spoken and written English, and strong negotiation skills. They will be responsible for assessing current and new suppliers, ensuring that Master Purchasing Agreements are in place and enforced, ensuring supplier compliance (Ethical Sourcing, Global Security), facilitating competence development programs on Supply Chain, Product Development and Manufacturing, and preparing and leading Joint Business & Improvement Agenda, Supplier Performance Scorecard & Business Review Meetings for assigned suppliers. The role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, product development, and manufacturing processes. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will work closely with internal teams, including Global Consumer Insight Organisation, Global Supply Chain and Commercial Markets, as well as external partners, including manufacturing partners, key suppliers, model-shops, toolmakers and test-labs.
