Job Description

Luxoft seeks a Senior Android Application Developer to contribute to the development of ready-to-use IVI systems platforms for major OEMs. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, conducting design reviews, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Android HMI applications. The role involves participation in continuous integration and software optimization, adhering to Agile methodologies and Automotive SPICE standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong Java/Kotlin skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience with software design and architecture. The position offers the chance to work on cutting-edge projects within a high-caliber team.

Must have:

5+ years SW engineering, 2+ years Android dev
Strong Java/Kotlin, problem-solving skills
Agile development, software design & architecture
Source control, continuous integration knowledge
Design patterns/architectural patterns knowledge

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges; gather and formulate requirements.

Conduct and participate in detailed design reviews and validate that the design follows the approved architecture.

Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, implement and maintain Android HMI applications.

Participate in continuous integration and software optimization efforts.

Deliver features according to Agile software development methodologies and Automotive SPICE.

Skills

Must have

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a SW engineer with at least 2 years of Android Application development.

Strong Java/Kotlin.

Strong problem-solving and agile software development skills.

Strong software design and architecture skills.

Knowledge of source control and continuous integration.

Knowledge of design patterns/architectural patterns.

Nice to have

AAOS skills

Embedded C++

Automotive infotainment

ASPICE
