Job Description

As a Full Stack Developer, you'll contribute to the development of web applications, implementing user stories, writing unit and integration tests, conducting code reviews, and fixing bugs. Daily communication with client stakeholders is essential. Responsibilities include developing new applications and features, ensuring high performance and security within a microservices architecture. You will participate in Scrum events and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products for a leading Swiss online trading platform.

Must have:

3+ years experience as Software Developer
Java core (Java 8-11)
React, Redux, Javascript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS
OOP/OOD, design patterns
Spring framework, IOC
RESTful services
Unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)
SQL knowledge

Good to have:

Bachelor's/Master's in CS/CE
Finance/banking experience
Docker
Unix
Java 17

Project description

Our client is a Swiss leader in online trading, serving over 500,000 clients who can trade more than 3 million products through highly performant and secure platforms. In addition to offering various online trading products, including stocks, bonds, funds, derivatives, and cryptocurrencies, we also provide Forex, Robo-Advisory, and Mortgage solutions.

Since 2012, we have partnered with the client to develop innovative, cutting-edge digital solutions that help customers achieve their investment goals. Our solutions are continuously evolving, transitioning into atomic microservices and self-contained systems.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will contribute to the development of various web applications, including implementing user stories and technical tasks, writing unit and integration tests, conducting code reviews, and fixing maintenance bugs. Additionally, you will communicate directly with client-side stakeholders on a daily basis.

We're looking for a responsible and proactive person to help improve our products.

Responsibilities

Participation in Scrum events with the client

Skills

Must have

At least 3+ years of proven experience in a Software Developer position

Java core, Java 8-11 features

Experience with Frontend: React, Redux, Javascript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS

OOP/OOD knowledge, design patterns

Spring framework, IOC

RESTfull services

Unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)

SQL knowledge, any RDBMS, Oracle is a plus

Distributed version control system

CI tools experience

Nice to have

Education: Bachelor's / Master's degree in computer science or computer engineering

Experience in finance/banking business domain

Docker

Unix usage experience

Java 17
