Job Description

Luxoft seeks a Senior Android Application Developer to contribute to the development of a ready-to-use IVI systems platform for leading OEMs. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, conducting design reviews, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Android HMI applications, participating in continuous integration and optimization, and delivering features according to Agile and Automotive SPICE methodologies. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of SW engineering experience, including 2 years in Android application development, and strong Java/Kotlin skills.

Must have:

5+ years SW engineering experience
2+ years Android app development
Strong Java/Kotlin skills
Agile & design pattern knowledge
Source control & CI/CD experience

Good to have:

AAOS skills
Embedded C++

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges; gather and formulate requirements.

Conduct and participate in detailed design reviews and validate that the design follows the approved architecture.

Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, implement and maintain Android HMI applications.

Participate in continuous integration and software optimization efforts.

Deliver features according to Agile software development methodologies and Automotive SPICE.

Skills

Must have

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a SW engineer with at least 2 years of Android Application development.

Strong Java/Kotlin.

Strong problem-solving and agile software development skills.

Strong software design and architecture skills.

Knowledge of source control and continuous integration.

Knowledge of design patterns/architectural patterns.

Nice to have

AAOS skills

Automotive infotainment
