Summary

Expertise in Finance and Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules is essential, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Procurement, Sales, Inventory, Advanced Warehouse Management (AWM), and Transportation Management. Experience with end-to-end D365 Finance/SCM implementations is required.
Must have:
  • 4-6 years Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation experience (Finance & SCM)
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM modules
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in end-to-end D365 Finance/SCM implementation projects
Good to have:
  • D365 certifications in Finance or SCM
  • Cross-functional experience in Finance modules (AP, AR, GL)

As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.

We are looking for a Dynamics 365 F&SCM Techno-Functional Consultant who will be responsible for the end-to-end project lifecycle, from project conception to successful implementation, specifically focusing on Finance and Supply Chain Management (SCM). This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM, strong leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate and manage both onsite functional team and project scope effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deep understanding of the Microsoft Dynamics D365 platform & Possess skills to architect solutions that deliver results for our clients.
  • Gap Fit Analysis: Conduct thorough Gap Fit Analysis to identify areas where existing solutions meet or fall short of business requirements.
  • Project Scoping and Strategic Planning: Participate in project scoping sessions and contribute to the strategic planning of system solutions that align with client objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Meet with decision-makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operational requirements, ensuring that system goals are clearly understood and documented.
  • Requirement Documentation: Collaborate with clients and functional teams to create and review comprehensive requirements documents.
  • Solution Design: Work closely with functional teams on gap fit documents and help design both functional and technical solutions that are optimal for the project.
  • Presales and Customer Assessments: Participate in presales activities, customer assessments, and the development of proposals to support business development efforts.
  • Interface with customer project stakeholders, including C-level management and directors, to elicit business and functional requirements.
  • Function as a subject matter expert for application design, feature optimization, availability, scalability, user experience, visualization, and data integrity.
  • Develop functional specification designs including definition of functional requirements and business scenarios.
  • Drive the effective transition of requirements to delivery and development consultants, ensuring a clear and complete understanding of the requirements for a successful delivery to end customers.
  • Participate and/ or lead quality management reviews including designs, prototypes, and other stages of the project to ensure requirements are fulfilled.
  • Engage with project teams to gather assets, best practices, and guidance from our customers to integrate and/or improve our methodologies and end-customer experience.
  • Expertise in Finance and Supply Chain Management (SCM) Modules.
  • Cross Functional Experience in Finance Modules including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) will be an added advantage.
  • Working knowledge on Procurement, Sales, Inventory, Advance Warehouse Management (AWM), and Transportation Management.
  • Basic knowledge of Finance modules (AP, AR, GL) as well as Production, Master Planning and Asset Management.
  • Make recommendations for new processes and procedures.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users on D365 functionality.
  • Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI or other reporting tools to provide insights into client's supply chain performance.
  • Experience working on end-to-end implementation projects to D365 Finance / SCM.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • Over 4-6 years of relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation experience with Finance and SCM Background.

  • B. Eng, B.Tech, B. Sc, or any relevant post-graduation in related domain will be preferred.
  • D365 certifications in Finance or SCM preferred.
  • Must be able to manage time, prioritize and communicate commitments.
  • Must have strong client and internal communication skills with experience working in highly collaborative teams.
  • Individual contributor and should have the capability of handling the team and tasks individually.
  • Must be able to produce specific examples of work product (functional requirements, design, output, test plans, etc.).
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English language.
  • Strong listening & presentation skills.
