Summary

As a QA Engineer at Gnosis, you'll ensure Metri's quality and reliability through manual and exploratory testing, user feedback gathering, and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities include designing structured testing strategies for Metri's mobile-first PWA and browser platforms, collaborating with developers, designers, and product managers throughout the SDLC, gathering and presenting user feedback, documenting and tracking bugs, maintaining and enhancing Playwright automated tests, and developing health check automation. The role requires strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset. Familiarity with Web3 technologies is a plus.

What you will do

About the role

As a QA Engineer, you’ll ensure Metri’s quality and reliability through manual testing, gathering user feedback, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. While the primary focus is manual and exploratory testing, you'll also maintain and enhance Playwright automated tests as Metri evolves. Your contributions will directly improve the experience for thousands of users navigating Web3.

  • Perform thorough manual testing across Metri’s platforms (mobile-first PWA and browser) designing structured strategies that consider future use cases.

  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers throughout the SDLC to define test cases and prioritize quality.

  • Gather, organize, and present user feedback from Discord, Slack, and other channels to refine testing strategies and improve product quality.

  • Document, report, and track bugs while proactively identifying edge cases and usability issues.

  • Maintain and enhance Playwright automated tests, integrating them into CI pipelines as needed.

  • Develop health check automations to monitor partner service availability.

Who you are
  • 3+ years of experience in manual and exploratory testing, with strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to deliver clear feedback and advocate for quality.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools like Playwright (or a willingness to learn).
  • A proactive team player with a collaborative mindset and the confidence to raise quality concerns.
  • Familiarity with Web3 technologies or a passion for blockchain and fintech is a plus.
