Job Description

We are seeking an experienced QA/AQA Python Engineer to test our workforce management system mobile application used by over a million users daily. The app is native for Android and iOS. Responsibilities include defining and executing test plans, testing RESTful web services (Postman), manual mobile app testing (30-40%), and automated testing using Appium and Python (60-70%). This role requires collaboration with Android and iOS developers within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Must have:

3+ years QA experience
1+ years mobile testing (iOS, Android)
RESTful API testing (Postman)
1+ years Python automation experience
Appium experience
Define test plans and cases
Execute tests and report results

Description

We are looking for an experienced QA/AQA Python Engineer to test their workforce management system mobile application. The app is serving over a million users that rely on it for their day-to-day job. The app is a native app for both Android and iOS platforms. You will work in a team of 2 Android devs, 2 iOS devs, and 2 QA, and will perform manual testing of the apps as well as automation tasks using Appium.

Responsibilities

Defining test plans and test cases, executing them, and reporting results
Testing RESTful web services directly using tools such as Postman
Testing mobile apps (iOS, Android) manually (30-40%)
Writing automated tests in Python using Appium (60-70%)

Requirements

3+ years of QA experience
1+ years of experience with mobile testing (iOS, Android)
Experience with testing RESTful web services using tools such as Postman
1+ years of experience writing automated tests in Python
Experience with Appium is a plus
Working knowledge of relational databases is a plus
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced methodology such as Agile/Scrum
At least Intermediate level of English knowledge
