We are looking for a seasoned Infrastructure engineer with experience in building and maintaining on-premise as well as cloud systems. You will be joining the Data delivery team that is responsible for acquiring, processing and delivering data from various sources scattered across the globe. Our data pipelines process ~5TB of data daily which requires very performant and efficient compute and storage infrastructure. You will be playing a key role in facilitating and maintaining highly-available and scalable infrastructure.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud as well as on-premise compute and storage infrastructure.
  • Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters, implement Helm charts, and ensure high availability and performance.
  • Set up, maintain, and scale distributed systems (e.g. Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow etc.) ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Automate code delivery processes, implement CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
  • Work with development and operations teams, provide production support, and participate in on-call rotations.

What We Look For In You:

  • 3+ years in a similar role.
  • Proven experience with AWS or other cloud providers.
  • Experience with distributed systems (e.g. Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, Apache Hadoop, etc.).
  • Proficiency with Terraform.
  • Extensive experience with Docker and  Kubernetes, including cluster setup, node pools, and Helm charts.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and collaboration abilities.
