Must have:

  • Strong understanding of AWS Data Architectures

  • Experience with ADF (Azure Data Factory)
  • 5+ years in complex projects and programs
  • Experience with Enterprise Information Management architecture
  • Hands-on experience with on-premise and cloud deployments
  • Experience with scripting, automation, deployment, and troubleshooting

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Working with different databases and leading the effort to design, migrate, and program for these platforms
  • Defining, designing, and implementing data access patterns for multiple analytical and operational workloads, across on-premise or hybrid cloud-based platforms
  • Creating information solutions covering data security, data privacy, metadata management, multi-tenancy and mixed workload management within contemporary insights-based tools, technologies, frameworks, platforms, and deployment models
  • Designing reusable patterns to deploy to applications, driving understanding and adoption, and collaborating closely to influence application development teams on roadmaps and designs
  • Providing technical leadership to project team(s) to perform design to deployment related activities; providing guidance, participating in reviews, and preventing and resolving technical issues

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • 8-12 years of overall IT experience
  • At least 6 years of recent and related experience in information systems and working with different databases and their implementation and migration strategies
  • Rich experience in databases, designing Data Solutions, building database schemas, integrating data sources to existing system, database programming, migration strategy, AWS Data Architectures, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server migrations, ADF understandings, SQL debugging
  • At least 5 years’ experience working within large, complex projects/programs
  • At least 5 years’ experience in contemporary Enterprise Information Management architecture, design patterns, and execution
  • Hands-on experience with on-premise and cloud deployments
  • Demonstrated experience in scripting, automation, deployment, set up and installation, troubleshooting and fixing issues across platforms
  • Prior experience with programming on databases, SQL, and procedures

 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • Experience in lean and agile development process in a fast-paced environment, from planning, scoping, estimation all the way to optimization, maintenance, and support.
  • Desire to work in collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop
  • Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
  • Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management skills
  • Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
