Job Description

Netflix is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer 5 to join our Discovery Systems team. This individual will play a key role in developing and maintaining our centralized discovery platform, which powers recommendations and search for millions of users. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing scalable and reliable software solutions. This role requires strong experience in software development, a deep understanding of distributed systems, and a passion for building innovative products.

Must have:

Strong experience in software development
Deep understanding of distributed systems
Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Good to have:

Experience with machine learning and data mining
Experience with search and recommendation systems
Experience with Agile development methodologies
