Summary


The Milwaukee Bucks are currently seeking a candidate to fill the position of Sr. Director, Production & Content. This position supports organization efforts through the design of creative visual content that maintains the continuity of the Bucks, Fiserv Forum and concerts/events. The S. Director, Production & Content must be goal-driven, detail-oriented and possess the ability to adhere to deadlines within a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The Sr. Director, Production & Content will collaborate with all departments to ensure the fulfilment of company goals.


Game / Event Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Department head of video, graphic production and design
  • Supervisor of 4 FT employees (Production & Content Specialist, 2 Motion Graphics Animators, and 1 Video Editor) as well as all video control room PT staff for game nights and events
  • Manage game and event scheduling for all PT staff game
  • Game Night control room lead for all Milwaukee Bucks home games
  • Game Night producer for all Milwaukee Bucks home games
  • Collaborate with IT/OT to ensure control room technology is operating at highest level and consistently thinking of ways to innovate and evolve
  • Curate, organize and assign all content for Bucks, Marquette and concerts/events
  • Employ art direction in design of materials for BucksTV/video production, graphics, animations, sponsor and ticket sales activations.
  • Manage storyboarding of original content from single and multi-camera shoots for programming including in-arena and broadcast.
  • Produce a variety of video features in and around Bucks basketball and associated content (commercials, PSA’s, short features, etc…)
  • Assist with brainstorming and creating new and innovative ways to enhance in-game entertainment and extend the Bucks brand
  • Provide design support for other departments
  • Organize and manage all video, graphic, and photo files consistently for efficient storage and retrieval of projects
  • Maintain logo and identity guidelines and assist in managing their use while following NBA, NCAA guidelines for word marks and team identity marks


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in art or graphic design from four-year College or University; or 5-7 years relative experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite applications: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat
  • Knowledge of Adobe Flash, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Premier Pro, After Effects, File Transfer Protocol is required
  • Knowledge of AVID Media Composer required
  • Proficiency in Final Cut Pro required
  • Knowledge of Ross Acuity, Expression and Daktronics v8000 equipment
  • Proficiency with GrandMA3 lighting console
  • Experience shooting with multiple cameras such as the Canon C100, C300, DSLR
  • Knowledge of Interview production set-ups: lighting, audio, and camera
  • Experience in and understanding of production/media asset management, video compression and encoding techniques, and cloud-based workflow and delivery of digital files over various Cloud and FTP platforms
  • Successful track record of crafting break-through, visually compelling creative campaigns that drive revenue
  • Broad based experience/understanding of integrated marketing (advertising, promotion, publicity, and online)
  • Ability to think strategically about the brand across multiple platforms
  • Outstanding communication skills and a positive, energetic personality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and passion about Quality Control
  • Self-motivated, highly resourceful, with strong decision making skills
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Strong knowledge of the NBA (Milwaukee Bucks), NCAA (Marquette Golden Eagles)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power point)
