Job Description

The Strategy and Operations Principal Lead for Strategic Projects works with regional leadership to identify, design, and implement growth opportunities and continuous improvements. This role partners with Central Strategy and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to prioritize and enable the sales organization. Responsibilities include defining and launching strategic initiatives, scoping projects, conducting analysis, aligning stakeholders, driving cross-functional project delivery, and communicating findings to executive leadership through presentations. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills, along with business acumen and knowledge of digital ads and Google's business. This position offers exposure to various aspects of Google's GTM strategy and requires experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, or related fields.
Must have:
  • 8 years experience in relevant field or 6 years with advanced degree

  • Strategic initiative design & implementation
Good to have:
  • Experience with digital ads and Google's business

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with executive-level engagement as a business, operational, and strategic partner. Networking and influencing across functions.
  • Ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence and to navigate ambiguous situations, ramp-up on new issues and opportunities.
  • Ability to be a team player and successfully execute cross-functionally.
  • Excellent problem solving and project management skills with business acumen and knowledge of digital ads and Google’s business.
  • Effective communication skills, and the ability to take complex, ambiguous topics and create simple, compelling narratives for different audiences.

About the job

You will work with regional leadership to identify, design and implement opportunities to drive business growth and continuous improvement. You will partner with Central Strategy and several other Go-To-Market(GTM) teams to deliver on the region's most important business priorities and enable our sales organization. You will have the opportunity to work on a breadth of topics in GTM and get exposure to several aspects of the business. You will support GTM teams in making strategic decisions and achieving their business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Work with executive leadership to define, launch, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Define project scope, key focus areas, analysis needed to uncover opportunities and drive stakeholder alignment and consensus to deliver business impact.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver on project priorities, drive alignment and enable decision making.
  • Communicate findings to executive leadership in the form of executive-ready presentations and facilitation of strategy topics across functional teams.
