Our Risk and Compliance Generalist - Practice Support team helps PwC assess, design and develop solutions to manage diverse risks. You’ll help PwC develop a consistent, coordinated, and sustainable strategy.

Job Summary:
As a Risk and Quality Risk Senior Associate, you will work alongside Firmwide Risk Manager and the Independence and Ethics Director to support the delivery of risk and compliance projects including network standards assessments, QMSE reporting processes for Compliance, Independence and E&BC, policy work and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). A key part of the role will include working with Functional Areas Leads, where you will be given insight into how the Firm manages risk in the face of increasing Network and regulatory requirements.

You will also have the opportunity to work on a number of other risk and quality projects, including the Firmwide Risk Register, defining the SLAs with other Network Firms, and supporting the Firm to comply with Information Security and Business Continuity requirements.

Responsibilities:
Annual Network Standards compliance assessment process:

● Identifying updates to the access lists for each assessment and communicating these to the Archer Provisioning Team.
● Preparing update spreadsheets for the FALs, which set out the prior year questions, responses and findings, and any current year changes (new or removed questions).
● Roll forward and pre-populate the current year assessments as much as possible. Live assessments are accessed through the Archer system.
● Communicate with the relevant teams and support them, as required, to complete their assessments. Agreeing appropriate timelines for completion and review by the FAL.
● Perform an initial review of the assessments as they are completed, highlighting any potential issues/gaps.
● Prepare the TSP assessment summary ahead of the TSP Confirmation sign off.
● Tracking attendance at Network Standards calls and supporting FALs in the R&Q Pillar with the actions arising from these calls.

Other risk and quality activities are likely to include:
● Populating the Findings Tracker as required following confirmation of findings from internal and external reviews and assessments.
● Assist in communicating findings to relevant leads and documenting remediation plans.
● Ongoing monitoring of findings and remediation plan completion.
● Preparing reports on the status of findings for the Firmwide Risk Management Meeting.
● Collate and maintain a Firmwide Risk Register.
● Liaising with relevant FALs to document updates to the Firmwide Risk Register.
● Preparing reports on top risks, ageing risks, new risks etc. as required for reporting to the Firmwide Risk Management Meeting and Risk and Quality Committee.
● Supporting the development and implementation of an ERM System, and thereafter assisting in the maintenance of the system.
● Supporting the Firm to maintain compliance with ISO 27001 - Information Security and ISO 22301 - Business Continuity.
● Defining, updating and reviewing the Service Level Agreements with other Network Firms for Services delivered to the Risk and Quality Pillar.
● Reviewing and updating Network Risk Management Policies, including related CI Supplements.
● Reviewing and updating Network Standard and QMSE Risk Assessments and Mapping for Compliance.
● Reviewing, updating and maintaining QMSE process notes for Firmwide Risk and Quality.
● Supporting the Firmwide Risk Manager with the R&Q Committee Meeting Agenda and recording any decisions made outside this meeting; including updates to and maintenance of the action tracker.
● Supporting the Risk and Quality Pillar with annual training, including training materials and liaising with L&D on administrative matters.
● Other ad hoc projects for the Risk and Quality Pillar

Direct Reports:
● Reporting to the Independence and Ethics Director and the Firmwide Risk Manager.


There are no direct reports into this role.


Qualifications & Certifications:
● A relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, ICAEW, ICA Diploma, IRM qualification, etc.) would be beneficial.
● Further study support is also available.
