Strategy Associate - iGaming

Job Description Summary

What You'll Do (Job Requirements)

• You will work within an 8-person Strategy & Corporate development team to develop the corporate strategy, execute strategic planning process, and identify and execute strategic growth opportunities across all of Aristocrat’s global business operations – Land (Aristocrat Gaming), Digital (Pixel United), iGaming (Aristocrat Interactive) with a particular focus on the latter.

• Work will include evaluating cross enterprise strategic opportunities that leverage the strengths of our three business units. Specifically, this will include evaluating emerging Land/ Digital/ iGaming market opportunities and conducting industry, competitor, and trends analyses (e.g. macro, consumer, tech, commercial, regulatory) that will impact the strategic planning process.

• You will be involved throughout the M&A deal cycle, including identifying potential targets, performing due diligence on potential targets and partners, valuation, preparation of business cases, assisting in deal structuring, and developing effective post-merger integration plans.

• This role requires a commercial lens, understanding how we can turn theoretical opportunities into an actionable strategy to enable the growth of the business. It requires a strong understanding of the global gaming industry (specifically iGaming) and how it connects with global technology and media trends.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications)

• BA or BS from a top-tier undergraduate university
• Experience in an operating, strategy, or finance role in the gaming industry OR
• Experience in strategy consulting or M&A advisory for the gaming industry (specifically iGaming preferred)
• Excellent financial literacy, modeling and valuation skill, a proven aptitude for analytical work
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and processes
• Self-directed work style and ability to think independently
