Overview:

HYCU is looking for a System Administrator. As such, you will oversee the upkeep, configuration, and operation of our computer systems, local network environment, Cloud Services, and other systems. This includes installing and managing desktop and laptop computers (Windows and MacOS), configuring mobile devices (iPhone, Android), and other components of an organization’s IT infrastructure, such as printers, Wi-Fi access points, etc. 

 Location: 

• Ljubljana, Slovenia (Hybrid)

What You'll Do:  

• Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user systems, phones, and related hardware and software 
• Administer network access switches and WIFI infrastructure for end-users network enablement (UniFi, PaloAlto)
• Perform basic maintenance of Atlassian JIRA (Cloud).
• Assist in the maintenance and inventory of all equipment, consisting of but not limited to PCs, monitors, laptops, printers, and other components 
• Configuration and maintenance of policies, settings, and packages within the Office 365 ecosystem (OneDrive, MS Teams, SharePoint,…)

What We're Looking For: 

• Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical support issues via various communications channels/in person
• Experience with Windows OS/Apple MacOS family at the level of advanced user (cmd, driver and software installation) 
• Hands-on experience with Office 365 administration console with command line experience (power shell)
• Ability to research and make recommendations given a set of technical and non-technical requirements 
• A strong interpersonal foundation, collaborative spirit, ability to work autonomously 
• Tailoring your communication to the audience (both technical and non-technical users)
• Microsoft O365 Certification is preferred but not required (if you are not certified, we will help you to get certified in the first six months of employment)
