Job Description

Tencent Cloud seeks a Senior Database Solutions Architect to design and implement database solutions using TencentDB products. The role requires working directly with clients to understand their needs, crafting tailored solutions focusing on operational efficiency and cost optimization. Responsibilities include designing application architecture, recommending database solutions, acting as a client advocate within internal teams, and customizing industry-specific solutions. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical and communication skills, experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis), and a proven ability to translate customer needs into effective, persuasive proposals.

Responsibilities

1.Work backward from customer and business needs to design application architecture and provide tailored product solutions. 2.Devise and recommend database solutions based on requirements, leading the implementation of TencentDB products with a focus on operations, cost efficiency, and process optimization. 3.Act as the voice of the customer to internal teams, ensuring the best outcomes for our clients. 4.Customize industry-specific solutions to enhance the influence and applicability of TencentDB based on the unique attributes of each customer's industry.

Requirements

1.Strong technical and customer-facing skills with a demonstrated ability to accurately identify and address customers’ needs. 2.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to independently craft compelling and persuasive proposals that effectively communicate the value proposition of TencentDB solutions to potential customers. 3.Ability to dive deep into customers’ stated and unstated needs and issues, and to develop comprehensive recommendations or proposals based on customer requirements and the advantages of TencentDB. 4.3+ years of experience in development, implementation, or operations with Relational and/or Non-Relational Databases. 5.Knowledge in at least one of the following: MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.

Preferred Qualifications

1.Candidates with Tencent Cloud Certifications or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
