Trainee Video Editor

We are looking for a creative Trainee Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in video production and editing, a good sense of visual storytelling, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in editing videos for various platforms including social media, websites, and internal communications.

• Support senior editors in organizing raw footage, selecting shots, and assembling scenes.

• Add music, graphics, animations, and effects under supervision.

• Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and creative direction.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for visual content.

• Maintain and manage media files and project archives.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in video editing.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.

• Familiarity with motion graphics tools like After Effects is a plus.

• A strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing editing capabilities (academic/personal projects are acceptable).

• Passion for storytelling and visual communication.

• Good organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to take feedback and work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Degree/Diploma in Film Studies, Media, Communication, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
