Unity Developer - Hyper Casual Games

As a Unity Developer at Paperboat Labs, you will be at the heart of our game development process. You will work closely with our designers, artists, and other developers to create engaging hyper-casual games. This role requires a passion for gaming, a keen eye for detail, and the technical skills to bring game concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement game functionality using Unity3D.
• Collaborate with game designers and artists to bring concepts to life.
• Optimize game performance for a smooth and enjoyable player experience.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Integrate various SDKs and third-party APIs for ads, analytics, and in-app purchases.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across different devices and platforms.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our games remain competitive.

Qualifications:

• BTECH/MCA, Game Development, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in Unity3D development, preferably in hyper-casual games.
• Proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming.
• Strong understanding of game physics, particle systems, and UI/UX design in Unity.
• Experience with mobile game development for Android and iOS platforms.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of SDK integration (e.g., ads, analytics, in-app purchases).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the hyper-casual genre.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multiplayer game development.
• Knowledge of AR/VR development in Unity.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with 2D and 3D animation in Unity.
