We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Human Resources to join our client’s dynamic team. This role requires a unique blend of buy-side experience, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution skills.
What You Will Do
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives
Lead all aspects of HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compensation
Design and oversee employee development programs to foster growth and retention
Manage compliance with labor laws and regulations
Drive company culture initiatives and employee engagement programs
Provide strategic HR counsel to the executive team
Implement HR technologies and analytics to improve efficiency and decision-making
What You Will Need
Proven experience as VP of HR or similar senior HR role in a hedge fund or buy-side firm
Start-up experience strongly preferred
Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business needs into HR initiatives
Hands-on approach and willingness to execute tasks at all levels
Excellent leadership and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements
Experience with HR technologies and data-driven decision making
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
