The Workshop Supervisor at Tesla in Greve, Denmark, is a front-line leadership role overseeing service operations. Responsibilities include supervising a team of service technicians, ensuring health and safety compliance, conducting performance monitoring and feedback sessions, managing tooling inventory, and planning daily workloads. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with technical automotive experience (preferably with electric vehicles). The supervisor acts as a brand ambassador, delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving continuous improvement within the team. Daily interaction with internal teams and direct customer contact is expected. The role requires flexibility to work day and evening shifts.

What You’ll Do
  • Supervise the health and safety compliance across the center, setting the tone and always leading by example
  • Oversee and lead a team of service technicians to achieve results and set targets.
  • Conduct regular one-to-ones and feedback sessions with team members, providing constructive and clear coaching, identifying training needs, and driving their development.
  • Plan, prepare and distribute work based on skill level, capacity and resource
  • Monitor performance consistently and be responsible for quality within your team, reporting progress to management daily, together with any specific incidents
  • Identify any roadblocks disturbing workflow and ensure that everyone has the tools and training to perform their role successfully
  • Responsible for tooling inventory management, cost controls, and tool orders
  • Ensure that work standards and available procedures are up-to-date accurate and that all work is compliant
  • Hold daily meetings with the team, outlining expectations and workload for the day ahead
  • Act as the main point of contact within Front of House and warehouse, connecting with customers directly if required to limit escalation cases
  • Motivate, lead and inspire the team in continuous improvements and efficiencies
  • Liaise daily with internal teams within the Service Centre including Sales & Delivery and local Senior Management
What You’ll Bring
  • Technical automotive background as a Service Technician is highly preferable, ideally with experience working with Electric Vehicles
  • Proven ability to lead by example and be innovative with processes and efficiencies
  • Analytical ability to understand and impact key performance indicators
  • Problem solving initiative to fix problems when they arise, but also understand why and how they happened
  • Ability to motivate a team, to engage and facilitate others to achieve and succeed
  • A calm, considered approach with exceptional communication skills
  • Flexibility; willing to work both day and evening shifts based on local market needs
  • Digitally savvy – ability to adopt and adapt quickly to new technology and systems as well as standards tools like MS office
  • Able to communicate, read, and write effectively in the English language, and other local languages based on local market needs
  • Must have and continue to maintain a valid driving license and safe driving record
  • Eligible: to work in Denmark
