As an Admin Business Partner (ABP) at Canva, you'll support the Content & Discovery supergroup lead (780+ people). Responsibilities include efficient time management (coordinating meetings, tracking action items), meeting preparation (materials, note-taking), prioritization of tasks and projects, travel planning, general administration (celebration expenses, documentation), and support for team activities (season openers, celebrations). You'll build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations and two-way visibility. The role demands efficiency, confidentiality, and the ability to simplify complex situations. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

About the Group
As an Admin Business Partner (ABP) to Content & Discovery, one of the biggest supergroups in Canva with 780+ people, your role is to partner with the supergroup lead to support their day-to-day administration and operations to ensure they’re set up for success. Reporting into C&D's Leadership Operations, you’ll work hand in hand to ensure that the administrative needs of our lead are prioritised and supported. You will also have a cohort of ABPs to knowledge share, contribute to and support each other along the way. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to Canva’s global mission to empower the whole world to design and do the most good possible.

About the Role
This role will work directly with our Content & Discovery Supergroup Lead, and report to the supergroup’s Leadership Operations (Chief of Staff), as well as partnering with the broader operations team to ensure there is effective and impactful support.

We are looking for someone super-efficient, who loves nothing more than to anticipate needs, get stuff done, and is able to suggest resolutions when identifying issues. This role requires someone who can operate with pace, high degrees of confidentiality and someone who can truly make the complex simple, by knowing who and when to engage with at any one time.

What you’ll do

  • Time management: You'll ensure the Lead’s time is used efficiently through coordinating meetings and tracking action items and follow ups. 
  • Meeting preparation: You'll prepare for meetings by coordinating and assisting in building any materials and note taking. 
  • Prioritisation and workload management: You'll work closely with the Supergroup Lead to prioritise tasks and projects, ensuring that high-impact initiatives receive prompt attention and support.
  • Travel planning: You'll plan for travel by managing both logistical travel arrangements as well as trip itineraries. 
  • General administration:  You'll help out with a wide range of business and tasks as they come up including celebration expenses, documentation and any other ad hoc requests.
  • Team activities: You'll support the supergroup operations team on the organisation of season openers, celebrations, gifts and off-sites, ensuring everyone is empowered to do the best work of their life and having the best time doing it.
  • Be a Real People Person: You’ll build strong relationships with key stakeholders within the company, this will be critical to ensuring that there is the right two-way visibility between the team and the business. 
  • Own the day to day: You'll be making sure that the Supergroup Lead is set up to run smoothly.
